crashcourse day two today. really learn like alot more about jonah, esp chap 1. wrote down some applications really relevant to life now so it's kinda fruitful, though i dozed off a few times, much to deng2's entertainment. >_<

oh, and yihui's back in spore! went to walk ard ps and dougby xchange w her after the course and after a bullying session by the funny brothers.. thanks for sending me home pherd. (:

caregrp gathering was enjoyable, glad to see everyone so on abt joining a ministry. cancelled date with seepeng, so sorry sheep... went down to tp. sudden decision cause realised everyone's free day on wed. went there with renying and ian brought us around the place.

had a rather lousy day until...

chilled with pamela at newyorknewyork. uhm, dinner at 4pm.

2 appetisers, fondue and alot alot alot of icewater. good service, nice seats and environment. went to the empty space on the way to esplanade to relax and wait for the food to digest. saw many dancers and skateboarders, not bad ah, some spore youth life.

then went with her to tanjong pagar for her cello rehearsal. we got lost -_-" wana know why?

the tiny sign indicates that this is the place we are looking for- spore conference hall. and that HUGE singapore CO sign totally overshadow tt tiny sign. so we walked one whole big circle and realised it is actually tt building...

it's rarer than rare to see kids photo on my blog. this litttle boy is really cute. holding his violin and looking very lost. oh, he's quiet and far away, therefore, cute kid.

sunday family day

was supposed to go chill out with some people today, but uh... decided to stay at home instead. my dad shouted for me and bro to wake up before 9am even, and i got the same paranoid image i always have when i return home late- that he would be in the living room with a cane. lol. he nv even whack me before lah.

so anw, dad was so high, he forced me n bro to throw away all junk tt we dont want. so i spend a good sunday afternoon clearing out junk. and discovered smth..
what nas drew for me in sec 2, dedicated to superlays, wahaha.

this is oddish (with quite a moronic expression) sadly, i sort of recall throwing away all the made pokemon origami on impulse one time. only left with this and a few bats.

so while i thought i am gg to break my record of not going out and staying home for a whole day, sis called to ask us to go out.

oh, and i finished reading little prince in less than an hour. hmm, i recall some tcher saying when u read this book at different stages of yr life, it would be a different experience. kinda true, since i bought the book when i was in pri sch, didnt understand anything, and left it to collect dust.

today's a happy day.

met up with my caregroup for brunch and woah, so many people turned up and we enjoyed ourselves, especially seeing emily and sharon eating noodles, hehehe. after that, most of us went for Believer's gathering, while peng went to lunch with her friend/visitor.

service praise was really nice.. or maybe because today is really joyous, cause tracie and zhiwei came for service! :D, i cant express my joy. and there were 4 people who joined us today. enjoyed praise exceptionally. i was standing beside yiteng during Bgathering and when we sang king of majesty, she "hey hey hey hey!" like how we normally do, but dont know why pple dont do it anymore, quite funny. although the visitors did not choose to cross the line of faith, i do believe seeds are planted.

the high school side had a blast at the high school meeting. the games we planned yesterday were kinda successful, with andrea (kar's friend) emerging as the winnerrrr. hahaha. really enjoyed the crazy and impromptu skit thing with the entire unit. people actually laugh at us. haha! yihui, we are getting yr anointing to tell jokes. the leaders catwalk was hahahahahaha, enjoyable ^^ it's great to serve alongside with them, so on and passionate.

after the day's events, went with pam to ps. eh, we are bored. this whole week has been quite "huh?" and we are still suffering from PES, post exam syndrome.

and i almost replied rachel's "hey wana go some cafe and chitchat?" with "oh okay! i bring my books along."

hmm, i just realised one major area that i changed in since i came to church. when i was in lowersec, i used to treat my house merely as a house, not a home, and even an ATM machine. i come home to get allowance for tml and to sleep. but recently i really learn to appreciate my parents, like how my mum would ensure the rice cooker is left on so i can eat my second dinner when i reach home, and how dad would somehow find a prominent spot on my cluttered table to leave my allowance. i suddenly feel like learning how to cook! realised recently how blessed i am to have homecooked food. anw my mum still uses charcoal stove to make soup, so i got nice soup to drink, hehe. hmm, it's going to take some time to convince everyone i wont burn down the kitchen though.


i realised how fake yr smiles are too.
feel really sad, that your smiles arent genuine. there's so much unrest in you yet you just choose to pretend it's all okay. sense such a broken spirit. felt really thankful i have people in my life that let me smile only when i want to. i pray you would find people that allow you to do so too.

thu morn, went to do cut and style my hair in the morning, and head over to jasmine's with bernice and cixin. so we stone around, play comp and waited for the rest to come. never did such bimbotic vain things in the clan before.

such as, make up.
i never knew my friends know how to make up, lol.
presenting to you our dear make up artist.
this is pang huishan, affectionately know as makmak. (the photo is shaky cause i was laughing) but anw, mak rocks! she make up for all 6 of us then herself. w.o her, we would probably go w.o makeup, haha!

then, we became hungry. or rather, i whined that i wana eat smth. ber and jo then went to cook (:

after much safety-pinning, hair blowing, eye drawing, photo taking, ribbon tying,
its time to go already. we splitted into two cabs and cabbed down to hyatt.

yihui was shopping at far east and she actually came over to say hi. lol. the first feeling that struck us when we reached the reception place was overwhelmed. so many people decked out in stuff that you cant even recognise them, and alot of camera flashes.

initially everyone was bummed when we heard got to sit in class, esp since i dont really belong to any clique in 4/4 but thank God, my table people are very fun and high. although 4/6 somewhat dominated the prom, but i enjoyed myself, tuck at the corner back there, since it's so near the food table (: the food esp the deserts' really not bad. thought that the emcee's not bad too, just that everyone rather be fluttering around and taking photos with the acquaintances we make these 4 years.

seriously dont know whats w the andersonians. after the tchers left, they flock forward to dance raise one hand in the air and jump on the spot. me and friends sat back and watch. uh, its really kind of shocking. relatively entertaining.

we went to macs across the road after prom, okay kinda loser... but just sat there and chitchat for awhile. soon, everyone somehow had to leave. :/ me, ber and xin went to sleepover at jasm's. loser me literally sleep over. they chit chatted but due to sleeping for 4h the prev night, i zonked out. told jasmine my pae choices in a half asleep mode and she repeated it thrice to confirm, lol.

after that we happily walk to macs from her hse at 6am, sat outside macs to wait for it to open. ate hotcakes happy meal. the two meals after that 70 bucks prom dinner were.. macs. :/

guess this officially spells the end of the andersonian journey, yo.

God, first love

had a very enjoyable meeting w zion careleaders and yihui. we worshipped for fifty minutes, no less. was really blessed by the worship, really must thank God for Rachel, who is in Korea now :(

felt really comfortable, just sitting there and hugging my knees, and just singing to God, a personal worship, nice to just leave ministry temporarily at the back of our heads. been a long time since we leave down titles, and are children, not servants.

my burden was lifted and i was renewed.
maybe im not healed, but im on my way to restoration.

caregroup gathering was on the same day, and we went to prata hse after that. me, karchian, janice and sharon then went down to town, having time to kill. woah, the whole world was there, getting last minute prom stuff or shopping. met like 6 or 7 sets of different people.

oh forgot to blog abt this.
so after the zion clm, i was rummaging through my bag, trying to find my ezlink card but was very unsuccessful. so yihui helped me n rummage thru my bag too, and also cant find. so she went, probably as a casual comment "haiyo, did u throw it away?" and i realised "highly possible!" so we went over to the dustbin where i dumped my dinner remains and shone my hp light in. oh, the dustbin is at the serangoon central tt crowded busstop, and we looked uber lame. then i found it! but soaked with ... i cant and dont want to know what liquid tt is. gross, but yay, thank God man, if not need to make new one. lol.

i finally remembered to go check out the circle line, which is the new line that LTA is building to make it easier to travel from say, bishan to buona vista and say, yishun to tampines/bedok, heh. but apparently, everything is going to be completed in 2010, which we would have all moved on to another life station. -_-"

today was siansation, shopping.
yaya, you never read wrongly. i woke up on the wrong side of bed today but went to meet the clan for shopping anyway. shopping for prom clothes is really kind of buzzzz. especially since its sunday and family day and the whole world is out. (together with their uber noisy kids) but nevertheless! i got my dress! it's at this little corner in isetan, and i hope noone else discovers it, hiak. the rest have a harder time.. me and cixin left ying and huishan at cityhall and we went to meet ber. the three happy yishuners went to chong pang -_-" and we discovered the nice shoe shop xin's sis was talking about. the shoes there are nice...

2nd day of liberation

the night is still young, but i am so tired.

i slept for 4 hours today, turned in at 4am. was supposed to have some Joke to wake me up at 8am one, but he overselpt himself and woke up 5 hours later (: so anw, i went to find pamela, to pass her stuff, cause she's flying off today for missions. met her at ard 10+ at cityhall and they left for east RC. i wana go and see leh. :/

i left for serangoon and NE rc. really quite little people... so we had morn devotion.
soon after, there's northeast training class!
woah, i learnt alot.
debbie taugh abt cg dynamics, kind of like relearning. but i enjoyed myself lah.
stanley doesnt like bimbos yo. and he doesnt believe i like Art!!! :(
gideon continued the second part in bullet train fashion. woah, i learnt alot of new things. he managed to come up with an extremely tramautising exercise for us to apply what we learnt. he gave all of us a teaching and made us prepare to teach in ten minutes, but 2 points only lah. after which we would all just teach at the same time, pretending we are really talking to our cgs. gi would then tap someone, and we all would squat and listen to that someone teach.i was one of the lucky ones chosen. i kind of blabbered and my brain wandered to dunt know where. woah, but its really challenging. thank God for deb n gi, must have taken you guys very long to prepare.

after that, i ate cup noodles and everyone just loitered around. then left for corporate pm with alot of people. corporate pm was an eyeopener, never been to one before apparently. the pastor of the mandarin church, pastor james prophesied over me!
he's really cool.
he says God's going to use me more powerfully in a foreign land.
when i heard this, my jaw dropped and i forgot to pray, lol. but then yihui made a pt that it may be a new sch, foreign environment.
he also said i will bring hope to those in darkness, and those tt are less privileged. and i can use my gift of mercy. he knows i have it when i never even talk to him before.

so it's a great experience altogether. left earlier with yining. heartening to hear about her lifestory too. it's really great to be young man. i want to be a youth forever, yo.

so, yesterday aka liberation day. me, ying n ber headed down to dougby exchange, where i threw away two pairs of shoes (seriously, down the dustbin), and bought new slippers- ugly but very comfy. which walking around, we discovered made with love. which is a scrapbooking place, what a woaaahhh place.
for the uninitiated- scrapbooking is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scrapbooking it's very low profile in spore till recently and pangy attempted to do smth like that for us, but we discovered the place then she "forget it, dowan do alr" AHHHH! *slaps self.

it's like over so quickly now that u think abt it but when u are surviving it, it's kind of tortorous, struggling kind of feeling, and we did so many- tests, preps, prelims, its like repetition and you dont even rmb which is which. but it's okay lah, just that our timetable sucks. so we can study all 4 years and screw up, and it's just too bad lor.

today i met an eccentric woman.
she was wearing a skirt, then she sat at the table beside mine in macs, put her legs on the chair and was reading some daily devotion book. then she repeatedly drank her coffee, stood up, put her hands on her hips n look at herself in the mirror which is on the pillar a few tables away. and she kept doing that. like 5 times. so kind of freaky. she left macs then came back and repeated the routine for another 2 times or so.

then i went off to starbucks. sun came and we chit chat for some time, cause his sch nearby. then after that, this ij girl (dont know is which sch) sitting at the next table. woah. she study halfway then super stressed then she blurted out the F word, then started scrawling all over her foolscap zi bao zi qi-ly after crushing like 3 pcs of foolscap. -_- why so stressed?

so anw, i wrote an encouraging msg on the starbucks serviette and pass it to her w a yhope card w my contacts n left the place. so far, no response :/

kids seem to be quite a hurry to" grow up"?
i saw some xiao-bengs one day hanging ard northpoint. they seemed to have mastered the style of walking with their arms swinging behind their back which, in my opinion, is extremely energy consuming. then they have their metal chains and try-to-spike hair. the funny thing is they were all holding these blown up plastic strips, like those sound producing thing u hit at ndp, as "weapons".

so i attempted to rest today after meeting peng, tian and kar after the papers. but i realised! i cannot find any form of entertainment that doesnt involve addictive ones like msn, manga etc. so i took a walk ard the neighbourhood behind the yishun bus interchange in the rain. then had mini cornettos, tiramisu n strawberry.
nothing like icecream to make one's day.

i had an interesting morning. mum said smth to me and i dont know why i replied, while flipping on my bed "41.5" then she was like huh? what 41.5? 41 oclock? and she got very entertained that i said 41 oclock, and asked if dad has given me my allowance. so my brain brought me to 2 days ago, and i said "yaa, you." then dad screamed from the living room "noooo, mei you!!!"
because of them getting very high on a tue morning, i woke up soon after that and off-ed my alarm, and overselpt!

ya, think i ought to go sleep.

ss paper

today's paper is kind of funny.
everyone was kind of tensed, and trying to stuff information in that 4hours between mathsp1 and ss paper. we got so desperate we started chanting "merger! merger! merger!" (or rather, they chant while i attempt to hide face)

so everyone dashed into the hall when the doors opened, and checked the paper and break into grins when they see Q2: merger and separation. it was at that very moment, i felt extremely patriotic, to the school, for hitting the bull's eye and to Singapore, for setting that paper, hahahaha!

yup. my life is currently very boring. this is probably the most exciting thing already.

yihui came to visit me today at ulu yishun and we studied and chitchat.

what a long and tiring day, fell asleep standing leaning against the train panel.
felt bullied by adults today.

i was waiting for a cab down to amk central photocopying place to collect stuff we need for the mcg then an indian woman approached me and asked if i could let her go first cause her baby is crying at home i guess.. so i replied her i was in a hurry, which i really was, and she probed more and i told her nicely that i really am in a hurry.
then, the cab came, and i opened the door. and she rushed in and put her butt on the chair!! i was actually super stunned, so i : O then i protested then she ignored me. grah!!! but anw, after that, i got a cab company tt i preferred so im still happy.

went to see what i could help while donovan and yining and people were blowing balloons for the mcg deco. halfway through, there was a camera flash. we looked up and realised it came from a guy who claimed to be from the cuppage management team, and he lectured us. so i replied him that we are going to move away from the corridor. perhaps i sounded aggressive, hope i never stumble anyone, just that i really hate it when people do such "behind the scene act" such as taking a photo of people w.o our consent to use it against us. and kept saying that he's gona call in cops. uhm, if everyone calls cops for every small thing, we gona waste a country's resources. anyway, a bro from adults came and opened america's room and saved us (:

so, FRENZY was quite enjoyable.
thank God for ruiyong and the people who planned it.
drama cast was so so so so funny, pete acted and danced well man! got very entertained by kar's unique dance moves, lol. had some evaluation, along with guitar playing, singing and crapping. then, ate dinner with yihui and jon @ ps.carls.jr.

saw a man gobbling down his bun and bottle of coke outside the cityhall mrt, right next to the escalators and dustbins. i assume thats his dinner. felt that he is so pathetic.

anw, saw a girl on the way home, and she was carrying the bag we bought for cixin and chatting excitedly with her friend. then i started fantasizing about going home with cixin at unearthly timings and chatting after school, whoops.
today, i was swirling the conical flask and chanting to myself in my head, "TP, im coming, im coming yr way. nearer, nearer", cause i was getting weird results lah, lol.

just 16days more, 8 days worth of papers.
